How long do Alaska Jewel Skin Care products last? That depends upon the condition of your skin and how consistently you use the products. If used every day, twice each day, one ounce of product lasts between 4 to 6+ weeks. If used less often, Alaska Jewel Skin Care products will last even longer, but the healing, anti-aging and anti-wrinkle effects may not occur as quickly as when used twice daily. I've used Alaska Jewel Skin Care products for several months now, twice each day. I'm finding that I use less of the products now than when I first began. My skin feels really good, but is it protected? Is this normal? Yes, your skin is protected from environmental stressors and yes, your skin is reacting appropriately. As skin becomes conditioned and nourished, less Alaska Jewel serum, moisturizer and cream is needed. Needing less of the Alaska Jewel Skin Care products is a good sign. This means that your skin is becoming nourished and healthy. Why does my skin seem to change when the seasons change or during my menstrual cycle? In many ways, the skin on your face, neck and décolleté (chest) is like the skin on your hands. Sometimes your hands need a light lotion. At other times your hands need a richer lotion or cream, especially when the weather is very cold and dry or very hot and dry. Your face is the same way. Since skin reacts to the weather, stress, pain and other environmental factors, my clients and I switch between moisturizers. For instance, I use Pristine HydroMoist*urizer on the days when the weather is cold and windy or when I am experiencing a lot of changes and stress. When the weather warms up a bit or when it is snowing, I use PRISTINE UltraLIGHT. Sometimes by face feels "moist" after using a PRISTINE Moisturizer. Is this normal? The moisture you are referring to is an excellent sign. The dampness is an indication that your skin is healing, "plumping up" and re-hydrating - just like when you were younger. As your skin becomes hydrated and nutritionalized, your skin needs less PRISTINE moisturizer.
Try using a smaller amount of the PRISTINE moisturizer that is recommended for your skin type. During humid weather, you may need to use a lighter PRISTINE moisturizer, such as PRISTINE UltraLIGHT or PRISTINE LIGHT. Try alternating PRISTINE UltraLIGHT Moist*urizer with PRISTINE LIGHT HydroMoist*urizer or PRISTINE HydroMoist*urizer when you feel your skin needs less moisturizing during the day.
